I’ve had a few people ask why we don’t take online bookings from our web site. After all, that can sometimes be a very easy way to receive a booking.
Absolutely true that it can be easy, but we’re committed to ensuring our guests enjoy the absolute best night possible so we like to confirm bookings via the phone.
And there’s a good reason for that!
It’s About The Best Possible Dining Experience
You see, with us it’s all about doing everything we can so guests can have the best night possible.
When you phone we’ll have a chat and gather some information.
- If you call and tell us that your booking is for your mother’s 90th birthday, then we’d be sure to book you onto a table that has easy access and plenty of room.
- If the weather forecast is for rain and winds we’ll be sure to seat you inside. During the warmer months, guests often like the option of sitting outside.
- If we have all guests booking online for 7 pm we might have as many as 80 people turn up at once! And that would cause a bit of a jam from seating to service to meal preparation(to say the least!).
That’s a recipe for disappointment and we don’t want that.
As you can see, there are many factors that might impact on how to manage a successful restaurant night and managing guests arrival times, seating arrangements and more is all part of that.
